SPARC Executive Board Meeting August 25, 2018
Meeting called to order at 2:00 PM by Club President, Bob N2ESP
OLD BUSINESS:
TARC FEST items sold by Ron KP2N and Bob N2ESP for the amount of $277 with a profit to SPARC of $137.
No progress on activation of club RAIN NET.
NEW BUSINESS
A tour on the American Victory Ship located at Tampa Harbor will be looked into as a club activity. Cooler weather is a consideration.
October 20th St Pete Science Fest needs volunteers. A check for $20 was approved if the club decides to attend.
September 8th St Pete College will hold there Recycling Collection event. The information telephone number is 727-893-7838.
Consideration to purchase the K3 Transceiver for the club from Scotties estate was declined.
Nominations will be presented at the next general meeting for club officers.
