MINUTES OF SPARC MEETING – NOVEMBER 6, 2015
7:30 p.m. The meeting was called to order, Pledge of Allegiance and introductions were made. Secretary’s Minutes were accepted by membership. Treasurer’s Report was read by Tom – AI4QP and accepted, Vice President’s Report was read by Clayton – KJ4RUS, the tower plans with changes have been approved. Johnny – W4TSP read the Net Manager’s report, Dave – KR4U, read the Club Station Trustee report, all stations are operational and there will be four newsletters released a year. The newsletters is in need of content. Ron – KP2N, read the Repeater Trustee report, all repeaters are working as they should. Donn – N4KII read the VE report, 4 test takers, 2 upgrades to General and 1 new Technician. All reports were accepted by the membership.
Old Business – St.Petersburg Science Festival went well. Programs are needed for the club meetings.
New Business – Elections were held, President, Bob – N2ESP, Vice President, Ed – NZ1Q, Secretary, Ron – KK4KRC, Treasurer, Tom – AI4QP. Board Members, Tom – NY4I, Dee – N4GD, and John – KI4UIP. SPARC FEST will be held November 14th at Freedom Lake Park in Pinellas Park, permit in hand and looking for help with setup. Executive Board meetings on November 28th at 2:00 p.m. Break called at 8:08 p.m.
8:23 p.m. meetings was called to order, video presentation – Amsterdam Island Dxpedition. Meeting ended at 9:32 p.m.
