Meeting called to order at 7:30pm. Pledge of Allegiance and a moment of silence for Silent Key KB0SDR – Gretchen. Acknowledgment of guests and introductions were done. Secretary’s Minutes for December’s meeting are posted on the club website and accepted by the membership. Treasurer’s Report was given by Tom – AI4QP and an audit of the books was done by N4GD – Dee and
KK4KRC – Ron, no issues were found. Vice President Ed-NZ1Q informed the membership of Homebrew night being the program for next month’s meeting. Rick – KK4WTE gave the Net Manager’s Report, Dave – KR4U gave the Club Trustee Report, the club station W4TA, did very well in the 2017 ARRL RTTY Roundup contest. Repeater Trustee, Ron – KP2N informed the membership of a new 2m/70cm antenna install at the repeater site and Dee – N4GD fixed some errors on the controller. VE Report was given by Donn – N4KII and the Membership Report announced two new members who were welcomed by the club, Dale – KN4IRA and Delbert – KB8ONL. All reports were accepted by the membership.
Old business – Dues are due and the After Holidays Party has been postponed until a location can be found to host it.
New business – The club members were informed about the Bouvet Island DXpedition and President Bob – N2ESP proposed the club make a donation of $100 to help with their expenses.
Break called at 8:03pm. Meeting called to order at 8:13pm and the program for the evening was presented by Lu – W4LT on propagation. Meeting closed at 9:15pm.
