DESCRIPTION:Note this is a special date for this meeting only. We are meeting on the LAST Friday in November. \nThe program this month is by Bob N2ESP titled\, An Illustrated Guide to 160M Contesting. \nThe meeting officially starts at 7:30 but feel free to join us starting around 7:00 PM to catch up with friends\, have a cup of coffee and a treat\, and put a face to the voices you heart on the radio. \nMeetings are held at the Fifth Avenue Baptist Church. The church is located on the northwest corner of 5th Avenue North and 49th Street in St. Petersburg. Please park in the large lot at the rear of the church\, which is accessible from 6th Avenue North. DESCRIPTION:ARRL Sweepstakes SSB Contest (November 17-18\, 2018)\n\nDates: Saturday\, November 17th @ 4:00 PM EST through Sunday November 18 @ 10:00 PM (Times will vary though)\nContest: ARRL Sweepstakes SSB\nGoals: To work as many other stations in both the US\, train operators and have fun.\nNotes: This is a challenging contest due to a longer exchange than the standard 599. Our goal is generally to obtain a clean sweep where we work at least one station from every ARRL section. We also have the ability to use 160m in this contest so that may come in handy for the close in states like South Carolina.
