SUMMARY:Contest: CQ WPX SSB 2019
DESCRIPTION:The CQ WPX SSB contest is a great contest for people that liked the fun of contesting during Field Day. This is a 48 hour contest with exciting runs where we call CQ most of the time. If you have ever wondered what it was like on the other side of the pile-up\, this is the contest to find out. \nWe will use callsign NY4I which is a multiplier. That means other stations want to work us. Last year\, my first hour run was 200 stations per hour. It is hard to describe the adrenaline rush one feels when working stations that fast. We will start at 8:00 PM on Friday at the club station and go all through the weekend until Sunday night at 8:00 PM. We obviously need operators to do this level of contest. SPARC is inviting members of other clubs as well since we had so many people involved in our joint Field Day that liked working phone contests. \nRelated Images:

SUMMARY:ARRL RTTY Roundup Contest
DESCRIPTION:The first RTTY contest in 2019 from W4TA is the ARRL RTTY Roundup which starts Saturday\, January 5th at 1800 UTC or 1:00 PM local. We will also welcome any other club member who would like to try their hand in a digital contest. \nThis is a 30 hour contest in which we can operate 24 hours.  This means we will be working Saturday and Sunday.  Both of our stations will be active\, so we need lots of bodies to fill the operators chairs. If you would like to join the action let me know ASAP as first responders get the choice spots. DESCRIPTION:ARRL Sweepstakes SSB Contest (November 17-18\, 2018)\n\nDates: Saturday\, November 17th @ 4:00 PM EST through Sunday November 18 @ 10:00 PM (Times will vary though)\nContest: ARRL Sweepstakes SSB\nGoals: To work as many other stations in both the US\, train operators and have fun.\nNotes: This is a challenging contest due to a longer exchange than the standard 599. Our goal is generally to obtain a clean sweep where we work at least one station from every ARRL section. We also have the ability to use 160m in this contest so that may come in handy for the close in states like South Carolina.
